ERASMUS POLICY STATEMENT

The Faculty of Business Economics and Law Bar was founded in two thousand and eight and the first generation of students enrolled in two thousand and twelve. The license for work was issued by the Council for Higher Education of Montenegro.

The Faculty educates students on undergraduate, specialist and master studies through innovative study programs and through the application of a unique Model of student practice and practical teaching in the sixth semester.

At the undergraduate studies, students attend three study programs: management, accounting, finances and banking and law. At postgraduate specialist and master's studies there are also three study programs: public sector management, profit sector management and law.

Professional practice is carried out in the practical educational centers: commercial or non-commercial entities (enterprises and institutions), shops, agencies, or with entrepreneurs which the student choses by himself, or is provided by the Faculty from the territory of Montenegro or from the region.

Some of the advantages of the faculty are:
✓ All study programs of the Faculty of Business Economics and Law Bar are accredited and licensed by the Ministry of Education of Montenegro.
✓ The Faculty of Business Economics and Law Bar is successfully evaluated by the European University Association through the Institutional Evaluation Program.
✓ Students have modern electronic platforms as a support to their learning.
✓ Theoretical knowledge is upgraded by practical experiences.
✓ Free scholarship for the best students etc.

The Faculty of Business Economics and Law educates students at the undergraduate academic studies in the following study programs:
✓ Management
✓ Accounting, Finances and Banking (with narrow focus on Finances and Customs)
✓ Law

The Faculty educates students at the postgraduate studies in two study programs as follows:
✓ Public Sector Management
✓ Profit Sector Management
✓ Law

Every study program of the Faculty of Business Economics and Law is evaluated by the European University Association through the Institutional Evaluation Program.

The evaluation took place in the framework of the project “Higher Education and Research for Innovation and Competitiveness” (HERIC), implemented by the Government of Montenegro with the overall objective to improve the quality and relevance of higher education and research in Montenegro.
The Institutional Evaluation Program is an independent membership service of the European University Association that offers evaluations to support the participating institutions in the continuing development of their strategic management and internal quality culture. The Institutional Evaluation Program is a full member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education and is listed in the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education.

The „FACULTY OF BUSINESS ECONOMICS AND LAW„ realizes its mission and goals in accordance with recognized EU standards and values. Its vision is founded on the idea of a flexible and open higher education institution fostering an encouraging educational environment. Main goal is to modernize its curricula and take an active role in the economic and wider environment.

Our institutional internationalization and modernization strategy are realized through:
✓ Entering bilateral cooperation agreements with foreign institutions for joint capacity building and curricula development through KA2 projects.
✓ Networking with foreign organizations and institutions and membership in relevant international professional organizations and associations.
✓ Participating in EU mobility programs based on similarity of education systems. Participating in Erasmus will help us build the European Educational Area through:
✓ Tackling skills mismatches and promoting excellence in skills development.
✓ Building inclusive and connected higher education systems
✓ Ensuring higher education institutions contribute to innovation
✓ Supporting effective and efficient higher education systems The main strategic goals in the period 2021-2027 are aimed at promoting student and staff mobility, providing a range of mobility options, increasing participation in mobility programs, internationalization of the curriculum, increasing the quality and quantity of international cooperation, partnerships and participation in international projects.

The targets planned include:
✓ Taking active measures to implement requirements for digital mobility management, the EWP and the European Student Card Initiative;
✓ Embracing and implementing OLS – Online Linguistic Support & LMS – Linguistic Management System;
✓ Promotions of activities that enhance the active citizenship skills and competences;
✓ Introduction, promotion and implementation of the Erasmus+ virtual exchange programs.
✓ Achieving 15 % of outgoing student mobility (longer stays);
✓ Achieving 30 % of blended mobility;
✓ Ensuring that at least 1/4 of our staff gain international experience (teaching, training, research etc.);
✓ Investment in the necessary framework and tools, curriculum development and developing a strong network to cover and support the International Competence areas;
✓ Internal monitoring of International mobility and cooperation; Establishing a Forum by the International Office for the discussion on quality aspects and for regular assessments of mobility participants fill-ins. In such a way the International office will ensure a clear mechanism for reporting to the FPEP administrative staff problems encountered, at the same time respecting confidentiality;
✓ By 2030. the FPEP Bar should take steps to implement Automatic Mutual Recognition;

Some of the important goals of the institution's strategy that are consistent with Erasmus+ program are as follows:
✓ Shared knowledge about different teaching methods and communications with students
✓ Improved tools and strategies for blending research and teaching for advanced students
✓ Established cooperation links between institutions in the field of economics and law
✓ Shared experiences in teaching different levels of students.
✓ Established contact with HEI teachers that work in a similar area.
✓ shared experiences and knowledge about the interaction with students in multicultural etc.
